Vergina Sun Pendant

The Vergina Sun is an ancient Greek symbol, most famously associated with the royal tombs at Vergina, the archaeological site in northern Greece. It consists of a sunburst pattern with 16 rays, often depicted with a central circle. This symbol is believed to represent the Macedonian royal family, specifically the dynasty of King Philip II and his son, Alexander the Great. The Vergina Sun has been interpreted as a symbol of power, royalty, and divine authority. It has become a prominent emblem of Greek heritage and is featured on various modern Greek flags and symbols.

This pendant is sized at a diameter of 32mm with a bail able to fit a chain of a 4mm width.
